Masterpiece Studios Digital Multi-Media Group, Inc. is a media production company that creates high quality, professional grade videos, print, and web products for corporate giants like JP Morgan Chase Bank and Downstate Medical Center. Masterpiece Studios is certified with the State, City, SBA 8a, and N.Y. /N.J. Minority Supplier Development Council Inc. Masterpiece was formed in 1991 and continues to be at the forefront of the digital media industry.
 
I am very proud of the work Masterpiece has produced over the last eighteen years. However, awards and accolades cannot compare to the pride I feel about our intern program. The Masterpiece Internship Program sponsors qualified, underprivileged high school seniors and college students who show aptitude and desire but lack the funds to pursue training in the digital media industry. Our internship begins with a three month program that teaches basic computer skills, specialized media application training, script writing, filming techniques, film editing, audio production, and voice-over training. Those who graduate, continue for a more intensive nine month hands on training. Upon completion of this training they have participated in the actual production of a radio commercial, created a billboard ad, put together a client media kit or other project requiring the use of the skills they have learned in the program.
 
Over the years the program has been in existence we have graduated more than 300 fully trained members of the digital multi-media industry at no cost to them. Individuals like Donovan, who interned and then worked with Masterpiece for eight years has produced his own full length film. Another of our interns, a native of India, returned to his home after his training and is currently producing films and doing webcasting.
 
We have proudly sponsored this program since 1999 and with it’s ten year anniversary approaching in 2009 I have set my goal to successfully train 1,000 persons by the year 2011.

This program is very close to my heart because of the opportunity it gives to disadvantaged individuals who have the intelligence, creativity, and motivation to succeed in this field but lack the funds to pursue their dreams. I believe in the good this program has done but it has come at tremendous cost to Masterpiece. It is an expense we can no longer afford to carry alone. It is for this reason that I appeal to you, my colleagues and clients, to support me in meeting the needs of this very rewarding program.

I am asking if you would support the cost of training one student for one year.

$12,500 would cover all the training costs for one year.
$ 6,250 would pay for six months of training.
$ 3,125 would support one student for three months of training
$ 2,500 would cover the cost of books, transportation and lunch for 45 days of training.
